ThinkPad P1 G4 for mobile professionals

The 16.0 inch workstation runs an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 with a minimum 2.30GHz clock and 8GB of memory. A 256GB SSD provides the boot drive while Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed with a recovery image. The NVIDIA T1200 GPU adds dedicated graphics for professional applications.

8GB memory and 256GB storage headroom

Eight gigabytes of RAM handles typical office suites and light creative workloads, but the two memory slots allow expansion when projects grow. The solid-state drive offers 240GB to 256GB of usable space, which fits the OS and active files; larger media libraries will require external or cloud storage.

Upgrade path from integrated graphics ultraportables

Moving from a thin-and-light with shared graphics to this dedicated T1200 model is worthwhile when GPU-accelerated rendering or CAD viewport performance becomes a daily bottleneck. Buyers who need more than two memory slots or a higher-wattage GPU for sustained heavy compute should look at larger chassis workstations.
