Questions about this item

Will the Core i5-1235U throttle under a long compile or render job?

The 15 W base-power U-series chip will drop to its sustained level once the cooling system saturates, so expect lower clocks after several minutes of full load.

How loud and hot does the chassis get during an all-day workload?

The thin 0.78" silver chassis relies on a single fan; under continuous load the keyboard deck warms noticeably and fan noise rises to an audible but not distracting level.

What must I already own to add a second NVMe drive?

You need an M.2 2280 NVMe module and a small Phillips screwdriver; the laptop has an open slot but no caddy or screws included.
