15.6" FHD business laptop

The HP 250 G9 is a 15.6 inch full-HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-1235U processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD running Windows 11 Home. The silver chassis measures 14.1 by 9.5 by 0.78 inches and weighs 3.8 lbs. It suits professionals who need a ready-to-use portable workstation.

Factory-opened upgrade service

The supplier opens the original sealed box only to install the advertised 32GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD before resealing. This means the laptop arrives with the higher specifications already configured and tested by technicians. No further assembly or driver installation is required by the buyer. Buyers who want a factory-sealed unit with base specifications cannot be accommodated.

Connectivity and graphics limits

Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for current network peripherals. The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory and are suited to office applications and media playback. Demanding 3D workloads or multi-monitor gaming setups will exceed the graphics capability. The single 512GB drive may require external storage for large project libraries.

Questions about this item

Can the 32GB DDR4 memory be expanded later?

The system ships with 32GB DDR4 already installed; the manufacturer notes memory up to 32GB, so no further RAM expansion is supported.

What limits sustained performance on the Core i5-1235U?

The 15W U-series processor will hit its thermal ceiling first under long loads, causing clock speeds to drop to stay within its power envelope.

How loud and hot does the 15.6" chassis get during all-day use?

The slim .78" profile and 3.8 lb weight leave limited airflow, so fans become audible and the keyboard deck warms noticeably during extended sessions.
