A 2250 W redundant hot-swap power supply module delivering 12 V DC for the BLC7000 enclosure
The HP 411099-001 is a 2250 W redundant hot-swap power supply module designed for the BLC7000 enclosure. It delivers 12 V DC output in a plug-in form factor that supports N+1 redundancy for mission-critical server environments. The unit weighs 3.0 pound and carries a 1 year warranty. It is intended for data-centre operators who need continuous power availability in a blade chassis.
The plug-in module format allows replacement without shutting down the enclosure, but it only functions inside a compatible BLC7000 chassis with the correct backplane connectors. Power is delivered solely at 12 V DC, so any downstream voltage conversion must be handled by the blade servers themselves. The redundant architecture requires at least two modules to provide failover protection. Installations lacking the matching enclosure cannot use this supply.
At 2250 W the module comfortably powers fully populated blade configurations with multiple processors, memory DIMMs and storage drives under typical loads. Headroom remains sufficient for brief peak demands during boot or workload spikes. The supply reaches its limit when the combined draw of all installed blades exceeds the rated output, at which point the enclosure will throttle or shut down non-critical bays to stay within the 2250 W envelope.

Use part 411099-001, model HSSTNS-PR09; it is the 2250 W redundant hot-swap module designed for that chassis.
It can deliver up to 2250 W of 12 V DC power to the enclosure, allowing the blade chassis to draw its full rated load while the redundant partner shares the current.
The plug-in module slides into the BLC7000 power bay, so the enclosure backplane dictates the maximum current each slot can carry.
