Delivers 460 W of hot-pluggable AC power to compatible HP servers from a 100–240 V source
This 460-watt AC power module is built for HP ProLiant servers that require hot-pluggable, redundant power. It accepts a wide 100–240 V input range, making it suitable for worldwide rack deployments. The unit is designed to slide into a compatible server chassis without shutting down the system.
The single decisive specification is the 460 W peak rating, which must match the server’s power budget and the rating of any other supply in the same chassis. If the platform demands a higher-wattage module or a different form factor, this supply will not meet the requirement. Servers needing more than 460 W per bay should select a higher-capacity unit.
Because the module is hot-pluggable, it relies on the server’s internal fan wall for cooling rather than an independent fan curve. Power draw scales with the connected load, so idle systems draw considerably less than the 460 W maximum. Acoustic output is therefore determined by the host chassis fans, not by the power supply itself.

| Brand name | HP |
| Product type | Power Module |
| Power | |
| Max wattage | 460 W |
| Supply voltage | 100–240 V |
The 460 W rating is the maximum power the module can deliver to the server components under load.
The supply auto‑ranges across the full 100 V to 240 V AC band, so it works on any standard mains circuit worldwide.
It uses the standard HP hot‑plug form factor for the part numbers listed, allowing tool‑less insertion into compatible bays.
