HP ProLiant BL465c G7 heatsink

This HP 598248-001 heatsink is built for the ProLiant BL465c G7 server blade. It replaces the original processor cooling assembly in that specific model. The part is new and carries the manufacturer part number 598248-001.

Verify blade model and socket before ordering

Confirm the server is a ProLiant BL465c G7 and not another G7 or G6 blade. Check that the existing heatsink mounting holes and processor socket layout match this replacement. Installation requires access to the blade interior and thermal paste re-application.

Passive design relies on chassis airflow

The heatsink has no integrated fan and depends on the enclosure fans for cooling. Thermal performance is tied to the blade slot airflow and inlet temperature. Power draw is limited to the processor TDP; the heatsink itself adds no electrical load.
