HP 625030-001 3.5in SAS drive

The HP 625030-001 is a 3.5in SAS hard drive spinning at 7200RPM with a 6Gbits dual-port interface. It is built for server storage arrays that need midline capacity and hot-plug convenience. The included tray allows direct insertion into compatible LFF bays. Administrators expanding existing SAS infrastructure will find the drive matches their controller and backplane requirements.

Hot-plug installation with tray

The drive ships mounted in its tray so it slides into a supported LFF bay without tools or cabling. Hot-plug capability means the server can stay online while the drive is seated. Compatibility depends on the server model and backplane supporting 3.5in SAS LFF dual-port drives; systems lacking those bays or the SAS 6Gbits link cannot use the unit. Buyers who need a different form factor or interface should verify their chassis specifications first.

Yes, the unit ships with the LFF hot-plug tray attached so it can be inserted directly into a compatible 3.5-inch drive bay.
