Replacement 400 W unit for EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF and ProDesk 400 G1 systems
This OEM power supply replaces the original unit in HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF and ProDesk 400 G1 systems. It fits the proprietary form factor and connector layout used by those models. Buyers needing a standard ATX pinout or higher wattage for discrete graphics upgrades cannot use this part.
The supply delivers the rated output for the factory configuration of the supported desktops. Fan speed is managed by the system BIOS under typical office workloads. No independent efficiency certification or acoustic rating is provided for this unit.
Measured against everything we stock in ATX Desktop Power Supplies, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Remove the side panel, unplug the 24-pin and 4-pin cables from the old unit, unscrew the four retaining screws, slide the new PS-4241-1HC into the chassis, refit the screws, reconnect both power cables, and ensure the 4-pin CPU connector is fully seated — it is the step most often left loose.
The internal fan bearings will eventually wear; plan to replace the entire PS-4241-1HC unit when fan noise increases or voltages drift, as no user-serviceable parts are inside.
