HP Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter

This tiny USB Type A dongle adds Bluetooth 4.0 to desktop PCs and Macs that lack built-in wireless support. It targets office workers and home users who want a cable-free link for Plantronics headsets or other Bluetooth audio devices without opening the computer case.

Low-energy protocol and plug-and-play convenience

The adapter uses Bluetooth 4.0 low-energy technology to pair headsets, smartphones or tablets while drawing minimal power from the USB port. Its ultra-compact form factor stays inserted in a laptop or desktop for always-ready connectivity, and the external design removes any need for internal installation or driver hunting on supported Windows and macOS versions.

10-metre indoor wireless range

The single specification that determines suitability is the 10 m (32.8 ft) operating range, which covers typical desk and small-room scenarios. Buyers who need longer reach, higher throughput or newer Bluetooth versions should look elsewhere, as this model is limited to the 4.0 standard and its associated range envelope.
