Built for focused work

The HP Voyager Surround 80 UC headset is a wireless stereo headset designed for professionals who spend long hours on calls. It uses active noise cancellation and six built-in microphones in a boomless design to keep your voice clear. The circumaural ear cups with 40mm drivers cover the ears fully to block outside sound.

Suits open-plan and remote workers

This headset suits anyone who needs to take calls in noisy environments without a visible boom arm. It offers up to 21 hours of talk time and 24 hours of listening on a single charge. Buyers who want a traditional boom microphone or who need longer continuous talk time without recharging should look elsewhere.

Connectivity decides compatibility

The headset connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and includes a USB-C adapter with a USB-A option, plus a 3.5mm cable for wired use. Check that your computer or phone supports Bluetooth audio and has an available USB port for the adapter before buying.

Questions about this item

What connectors does the headset use for wired and wireless connections?

The headset connects via USB-C, USB-A and a 3.5 mm jack; it also pairs wirelessly over Bluetooth with a 98 ft range.

How do you attach the boomless microphone, and what step is often missed?

Six built-in microphones are integrated into the earcups, so no separate boom attaches; the step users miss is enabling the headset as the default input device in their meeting software.

What maintenance will the headset need over time?

The embedded battery delivers up to 21 hours talk time and 24 hours listen time; when runtime drops noticeably the battery cannot be user-replaced and the unit must be serviced.
