Poly Blackwire 3225 Stereo Headset

The Poly Blackwire 3225 is a wired stereo headset built for professionals who need Microsoft Teams certification and flexible connectivity. It suits office workers and remote staff who switch between a computer and a mobile device during the day.

Leatherette cushions fold flat

Leatherette ear cushions fold flat for compact storage in a bag or drawer. The headset provides both a 3.5 mm mini-phone jack and a USB Type C connection so you can plug into a laptop, desk phone or smartphone without an adapter. Inline controls handle call answer, end, mute and volume adjustments directly on the cable.

Passive noise reduction limits isolation in loud

The supra-aural design rests on the ears and relies on passive noise reduction rather than active cancellation. In open-plan offices or busy cafés, ambient sound will still be audible. The 32 ohm impedance and 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response are tuned for voice clarity, not high-fidelity music reproduction.

Questions about this item

Does the USB Type-C and 3.5 mm interface combo limit audio to a specific sample rate or bit depth?

The headset is certified for Microsoft Teams and delivers stereo audio from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 32 Ohm over both USB Type-C and 3.5 mm connections.

What headband and ear-cup clearance does the over-the-head, over-the-ear design need to fit on a desk or in a bag?

Leatherette ear cushions fold flat and the adjustable headband collapses, so the Blackwire 3225 stores in a shallow drawer or laptop sleeve.

How do you switch between the USB Type-C and 3.5 mm cables, and what step do people miss?

Unplug one cable and insert the other; the inline controls handle answer, end, mute and volume on either connection without driver installation.
