Indoor/outdoor MIMO antenna with 90° beamwidths, 5 dBi gain and RP-SMA connectors for 2.4 and 5 GHz coverage
The Aruba AP-ANT-35A is a multi-polarised antenna built for indoor and outdoor wireless data networks. It covers 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz and 4.90 GHz to 6 GHz bands with a nominal 90° H x 90° V beamwidth. The unit mounts on a pole or wall and weighs approximately 1.65 lb. An RP-SMA connector provides the radio link.
This antenna suits installers who need broad sector coverage for Aruba access points in mixed environments. It is not for buyers who want a narrow high-gain beam for long-distance point-to-point links. It is not for installations that require a connector type other than RP-SMA. It is not for deployments operating outside the listed frequency ranges.
The 5 dBi gain sets the reach and spread of the sector pattern for 2.4 and 5 GHz access. This figure determines whether the antenna matches the cell size and client density required for the site. Verify the gain requirement against the site survey before ordering.

The antenna is designed for pole or wall mounting and weighs 1.65 lb; mounting brackets are not included in the box and must be sourced separately.
Both ranges are supported simultaneously; the antenna covers 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands plus the 4.90 to 6 GHz public-safety band, so a single unit serves all three.
At 5 dBi the antenna focuses energy into a 90° horizontal by 90° vertical sector, roughly doubling effective range compared with a standard dipole while keeping coverage wide.
