HP Color LaserJet CP4025N 35 ppm printer

The HP Color LaserJet CP4025N is a network-ready colour laser printer built for office workgroups. It prints up to 35 pages per minute in both black and colour at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A maximum input capacity of 600 sheets reduces reloading frequency. The unit connects via Ethernet and USB interfaces and is powered by an 800 MHz processor. It ships new with power and network cables included.

Suited for shared office printing.

This printer fits teams that need fast colour output on a wired network and can supply their own toner. The 600-sheet capacity supports moderate to high daily volumes without constant attention. Buyers who expect toner cartridges in the box should look elsewhere, as the unit ships without them. Driver software and user guides are downloaded from the manufacturer website rather than supplied on media.

35 ppm colour speed with 600-sheet input

The decisive specification is the combination of 35 ppm colour print speed and a 600-sheet maximum paper capacity. Together they determine whether the printer keeps pace with workgroup demand and how often trays must be refilled. If your workflow needs faster throughput or larger paper reserves, this model will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I connect this CP4025N to a wired network, and what step is often missed?

Plug the Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port; the step often missed is setting a static IP or reserving the DHCP lease so the printer keeps the same address after a reboot.

Which consumables will need replacement after extended printing on the CP4025N?

The toner cartridges for each colour, the fuser film, pressure roller, transfer roller, pickup rollers, separation roller and separation pads all wear out and must be swapped periodically.

What is the first limit reached when printing continuously at 35 ppm on the CP4025N?

The 600-sheet input capacity is the first limit; once the tray empties the printer pauses until you reload paper.
