HP Color LaserJet CP4525DN bundle

This new bundle pairs a network-ready colour laser printer with a full set of generic toner cartridges. The unit prints both black and colour pages at up to 42 ppm and delivers 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Built-in duplex and a 600-sheet input capacity suit shared office workloads. Ethernet connectivity allows direct LAN integration.

Replaces single-function printers

Offices moving up from a monochrome-only device gain colour output at the same 42 ppm speed without adding a second machine. The jump is worth it when daily volumes approach the 8500-page black or 11000-page colour cartridge yields and automatic two-sided printing cuts paper use. PCL 5, PostScript 3, PCL 6 and PDF 1.4 emulations keep legacy workflows running.

Check power and network readiness

Verify that a standard mains outlet and a free RJ-45 port are available at the intended location. The printer ships with power and network cables but no driver media; current drivers must be downloaded from the manufacturer site. Ensure the workgroup can use Ethernet printing rather than USB or wireless. Buyers needing wireless or mobile print protocols should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What physical space does the CP4525DN need on a desk or shelf?

The printer requires room for a 600-sheet input tray and a duplex unit, so allow clearance at the front for paper loading and at the rear for the Ethernet cable and ventilation.

What is the step people often miss when installing the bundled toner cartridges?

Each generic cartridge (CE260A black, CE261A cyan, CE263A magenta, CE262A yellow) ships with a sealing tape that must be pulled out completely before the cartridge seats and the printer recognises it.

Which consumables will need replacement after the included toner is used?

The starter bundle supplies 8500 black pages and 11000 pages per colour; once those yields are reached you will need new CE260A, CE261A, CE262A and CE263A cartridges, plus eventual fuser film and pickup rollers.
