What this bundle delivers

The HP Color LaserJet CP4525DN is a new colour laser printer that prints up to 42 pages per minute in both black and colour at 1200 x 1200 dpi. It includes automatic duplex printing, a 600-sheet maximum input capacity and Ethernet connectivity for network sharing.

Who this suits and who it does not

Offices needing fast, double-sided colour output on a wired network will find the speed and paper capacity a good fit. Buyers who require wireless or mobile printing, higher resolution than 1200 x 1200 dpi, or larger paper trays should consider other models.

The specification that decides fit

The single decisive figure is the 42 ppm colour print speed combined with Ethernet-only networking; if your workflow demands faster colour throughput or Wi-Fi connectivity, this unit will not meet those needs.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HP Color LaserJet CP4525DN and what step do people often miss?

Connect the supplied power and Ethernet cables, load paper into the 600-sheet tray, then download the latest firmware from the manufacturer website before printing.

Which consumables will need replacement after the included toner is used?

The bundle includes new generic cartridges: black CE260A (8500 pages) and cyan CE261A, magenta CE263A, yellow CE262A (each 11000 pages). A maintenance kit with fuser, rollers and pads is already installed.

What limit appears first during continuous high-volume printing?

The 600-sheet input capacity will require refilling before the 42 ppm engine reaches its duty cycle, so plan paper reloads for long print runs.
