Color Multifunction Laser Printer

The HP Color LaserJet Pro M477FDW is a color multifunction laser printer built for small offices that need print, copy, scan and fax in one device. It produces color output at 600 x 600 dpi with black and color speeds of up to 28 ppm. The unit handles duplex printing automatically.

Wired Network Integration

The printer connects to a local network through its Ethernet RJ-45 port, allowing multiple users to share the device without a direct USB link. Duplex-ready mechanics free up manual page-turning time for double-sided jobs. A 300-sheet input tray reduces the frequency of paper refills during busy periods.

300-Page Capacity and Speed Limits

The 300-page input capacity and matching output bin handle moderate daily volumes without constant attention. At 28 pages per minute the engine keeps pace with typical document workflows. High-volume environments or users needing larger paper cassettes will reach the tray limit quickly.

Questions about this item

How many pages can the 300-sheet input tray feed before it needs refilling during a long print job?

The tray holds up to 300 pages, so a continuous run will pause for paper once that amount has been printed.

What is the typical sound level and heat output when the M477FDW runs at its 28 ppm rating for hours?

At 28 pages per minute the engine runs at its rated speed; expect normal office laser-printer noise and warmth during extended use.

Which toner cartridges must already be on hand for the CF379A to print out of the box?

The unit ships without toner, so you need compatible HP colour and black cartridges installed before the first page.
