HP Dual TBT4 PCIe x4 Low Profile Card

The HP Dual TBT4 PCIe x4 Low Profile expansion card adds two high-speed ports to a desktop system through a single PCIe x4 slot. It delivers up to 40Gbps dual channel data transfer for demanding workflows. Data and video share one cable with support for USB, PCI Express and DisplayPort devices. The low profile bracket fits compact chassis designs.

Suitable For

Builders who need to connect multiple high-bandwidth peripherals through a single slot will benefit from the dual port design and daisy chain support for up to five devices. The card supplies up to 15W of power over USB-C for bus-powered devices. Buyers whose systems lack an available PCIe x4 slot or who require a different bracket height should look at other options.

Deciding Specification

The card uses a PCIe x4 interface to provide two ports with up to 40Gbps bandwidth each. This lane width and port count determine whether the card matches the motherboard slot availability and the number of devices the user intends to connect.
