Compact small-form-factor desktop for office

The HP Elite 800 G9 packs a 20-Core Intel Core i7-14700 processor with a 5.4GHz turbo frequency into a small chassis designed for tight spaces. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. Wired keyboard and mouse are included so it is ready for immediate deployment in home-office or student environments.

Standard SFF installation

The unit arrives fully assembled; only power, display and network cables need connecting. Upgrades are limited by the 260W power supply and the compact internal layout, so adding high-draw expansion cards or additional 3.5-inch drives is not practical. The DVD±R/RW bay occupies the single external 5.25-inch slot, preventing front-access storage additions.

4TB NVMe and 32GB DDR5 headroom for multitasking

The 4TB NVMe SSD provides ample space for large project files, local databases and extensive media libraries without relying on external drives. 32GB DDR5 handles heavy browser tab counts, virtual machines and creative suites simultaneously. The 260W supply and integrated UHD 770 graphics cap sustained all-core loads and rule out modern 3D rendering or gaming workloads.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-14700 is hitting its 5.4 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU clock speed while running a heavy workload; it should reach 5.4 GHz on active cores.

The listing mentions a wired keyboard and mouse — are any cables, adapters or a monitor also included?

The box contains the SFF desktop, a wired keyboard, a wired mouse and a power cord; a display and any video cables are not included.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5 configuration or would a different memory size suit the i7-14700 better?

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR5, which matches the 20-core processor for smooth multitasking; other capacities are not offered for this model.
