Compact small-form-factor desktop with a 14-core Intel i5-14500T, 16 GB DDR5, 2 TB NVMe storage and Windows 11 Pro
The HP Elite 800 G9 is a new mini desktop built for home office and student use. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a wired keyboard and a wired mouse. A monitor is not included in the box.
Wired networking tops out at Gigabit Ethernet speeds. Wireless uses Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) for compatible routers. The 90 W power supply limits total system draw, so high-power add-in cards are not supported.
Initial setup only requires connecting power, display and peripherals. The compact chassis restricts internal upgrades; adding storage or memory later may need disassembly and compatible DDR5 modules.

The system ships with 16GB DDR5 memory installed. This capacity handles typical home-office multitasking and student workloads without bottlenecking the 14-core processor.
The Intel Core i5-14500T can boost up to 4.8GHz on demanding threads, giving snappy responsiveness when loading large spreadsheets, compiling code or exporting media files.
The integrated Wi-Fi 6E adapter supports the 6GHz band for lower latency and higher throughput, but actual speed is capped by your router, channel width and local interference.
