Business 2-in-1 with detachable keyboard

The HP Elite x2 1012 G1 is a 12-inch Windows 10 Pro tablet that ships with a travel keyboard and an active stylus. Its Corning Gorilla Glass 4 touchscreen supports multi-touch gestures for direct manipulation. The convertible form factor suits mobile professionals who need both tablet flexibility and laptop ergonomics in a single silver device.

256 GB SSD and 8 GB DDR3 headroom

The 256 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system, business applications and a moderate document library without relying on cloud sync. Eight gigabytes of DDR3 memory keeps typical office workloads such as browser tabs, email and video calls responsive. Larger local media collections or virtual machines will exceed the available capacity and require external storage.

Travel keyboard and HP Active Pen included

The bundled keyboard converts the tablet into a traditional clamshell for extended typing sessions on the move. The HP Active Pen adds Wacom-powered pressure sensitivity and an application launch button for natural inking and quick shortcuts. Together they eliminate the need to purchase separate input accessories for productivity or creative tasks.

Questions about this item

Will the Thunderbolt 3 port on this Elite x2 1012 G1 work with my older USB 3.0 dock and monitors?

The Thunderbolt 3 port uses a USB Type-C connector and is backward compatible with USB 3.0 devices, so your existing dock and monitors will connect and function at USB 3.0 speeds.

How can I verify the Core m7-6Y75 is reaching its 3.10 GHz turbo speed under load?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or a tool like Intel XTU while running a demanding task; the CPU frequency graph should show the processor climbing toward 3.10 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Does the box contain the Travel Keyboard and Active Pen, or do I need to order them separately?

Both the HP Travel Keyboard and the HP Active Pen with Wacom technology are included in the box along with the tablet and an OEM AC power adapter.
