14" WUXGA touch business laptop

The HP EliteBook 6 G1q is a 14-inch Windows 11 Pro laptop built around the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 processor with 12 cores running up to 3.4 GHz. It ships with 64 GB of onboard LPDDR5x-8533 MT/s memory and integrated Qualcomm Adreno graphics. The anti-glare IPS touchscreen delivers 1920 x 1200 resolution at 300 nits and covers 62.5% sRGB.

Professionals needing all-day battery

This configuration suits mobile professionals who prioritise long battery life, on-device AI processing and a lightweight 3.17 lb chassis made with 50% recycled aluminium covers. Buyers who need a discrete GPU for heavy 3D rendering, expandable memory slots or a wider colour gamut for colour-critical work should look at alternative platforms.

64 GB onboard LPDDR5x memory

The single specification that decides fit is the 64 GB of soldered LPDDR5x-8533 MT/s memory. Because it is not upgradeable, the amount you purchase is the total capacity available for the lifetime of the device. Verify that this capacity meets your workload requirements before ordering.

Questions about this item

How is the 64 GB LPDDR5x memory installed, and what step do people get wrong?

The memory is soldered on the motherboard, so it cannot be upgraded or replaced after purchase. The step people get wrong is assuming they can add more later — choose the capacity you need at checkout.

What maintenance or replacement will the 56 Whr battery need later?

The 3-cell lithium-ion battery is internal and not user-replaceable. When its capacity drops, a qualified technician must service the laptop to swap it out.

What limit shows up first on the Snapdragon X Elite during sustained workloads?

The integrated Adreno GPU shares the 64 GB LPDDR5x memory with the CPU, so graphics-intensive tasks hit the shared memory bandwidth ceiling before the 12-core processor reaches its 3.4 GHz boost limit.
