Compact business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G3 is a 14.0 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6500U dual-core processor running at 2.50 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.10 GHz. It comes with 16GB DDR3 memory and a new 500GB SSD using a SATA interface. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

Mobile professionals and office users

This configuration suits people who need a light 14 inch display, integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 and enough RAM for typical productivity tasks. Buyers who want more storage than 500GB, a dedicated graphics card, a touchscreen or memory beyond the 32GB maximum should consider other options.

500GB SATA SSD capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 500GB SATA SSD, which sets the total internal space and the drive interface. If the workload requires a larger or faster internal drive, this unit will not meet that need without a hardware change.
