ThinkPad T480 with i7-8650U and 16 GB DDR4

This 14.0" laptop runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor at 1.90 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB M.2 drive. The package includes an AC adapter and battery.

Suits office, school and general productivity users

The 16 GB DDR4 capacity handles multitasking and typical business applications smoothly. Buyers who need more than 256 GB of internal storage or a larger display should look at other models. The Grade B condition means the unit is used, tested operational and may show cosmetic wear.

16 GB DDR4 memory soldered and slotted

The system provides 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, which is the total memory available. This fixed capacity determines whether the laptop can run your required workloads without upgrade headroom.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Core i7-8650U get during all-day workloads?

The 1.90 GHz quad-core processor runs at a low base power, so fan activity stays modest and the 14" chassis remains comfortable during extended sessions.

What must I already own to use the 256GB M.2 drive and 16GB DDR4 memory?

The laptop ships with both the drive and memory installed, so no extra components are required to start working.

Will my older USB-A peripherals and external monitors connect without adapters?

The ThinkPad T480 includes standard USB-A ports and video outputs, letting legacy keyboards, mice and displays plug in directly.
