Questions about this item

How can I verify the 14.0" 1920 x 1080 FHD panel and Intel Core i7-6500U are running correctly after first boot?

Open Settings > System > Display to confirm 1920 x 1080 resolution, then open Task Manager > Performance to see the i7-6500U dual-core processor running at its 2.50 GHz base and 3.10 GHz turbo speeds.

Which components are included and which must be purchased separately?

The laptop arrives with the 14.0" FHD screen, i7-6500U CPU, 16 GB DDR3 memory, new 240 GB SATA SSD, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, webcam and Bluetooth already installed; only peripherals such as a mouse or external monitor would be extra.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR3 configuration or upgrade to the 32 GB maximum supported?

The unit ships with 16 GB DDR3; if your typical workload uses more than that, the two slots support up to 32 GB total, otherwise the factory memory is sufficient.
