Ready-to-use 14" business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G3 arrives with Windows 10 Pro installed, an Intel Core i5-6300U running at 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD. It is aimed at professionals who need a compact, mains-powered workstation for office applications, web-based tools and video calls. The 14.0 inch FHD panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 image without touch input.

Suited to mobile office work.

This unit fits users who value a built-in RJ-45 port, VGA, full-size DisplayPort and a USB 3.1 Type-C connector for docking or external displays. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles everyday productivity and dual-monitor setups but lacks the 3D performance required for modern gaming, CAD rendering or colour-critical video editing. Buyers who need a dedicated GPU, more than 8 GB of RAM or a touchscreen should look at other configurations.

512 GB M.2 SATA SSD capacity and interface

The solid-state drive uses the SATA protocol over an M.2 form factor, giving fast boot and application loading compared with mechanical disks while staying within the SATA speed envelope. If your workflow demands a larger volume or a faster interface, this drive will not meet the requirement.
