Business-ready 14 inch FHD laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G3 is a 14.0 inch business laptop with a 1920 x 1080 LED display. It runs on an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor at 2.4 GHz with 3 MB L3 cache. The system includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 uses shared system memory. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

This unit fits users who require VGA, full-size DisplayPort and RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet on a compact chassis. The USB 3.1 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 ports handle modern peripherals. A SIM card reader supports mobile broadband. Buyers who need a touchscreen, discrete graphics or a larger SSD should consider other configurations.

128 GB M.2 SATA SSD limits local storage

The 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD provides the boot drive and primary data volume. Capacity is modest for large media libraries or virtual machines. External drives or cloud storage become necessary for heavier workloads. The drive uses the SATA protocol.
