HP EliteBook 840 G4 14" QHD Business Laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14.0 inch business laptop with a 2560 x 1440 QHD display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-7500U dual-core processor at 2.7 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed for professional use.

Suits mobile professionals needing a sharp QHD

This laptop suits professionals who need a crisp 14 inch QHD panel for detailed work on the move. The 16 GB DDR4 and fast NVMe SSD handle multitasking and quick boot times. Buyers who want a touchscreen or dedicated graphics card should look elsewhere, as this model uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 and a non-touch display.

Deciding spec: 2560 x 1440 QHD non-touch display

The single specification that decides fit is the 14.0 inch 2560 x 1440 QHD non-touch screen. It delivers high pixel density for text clarity and image detail in a compact chassis. If your workflow requires touch input or a lower-resolution panel for longer battery life, this display makes the unit unsuitable.
