HP EliteBook 840 G4 business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor running at 2.6 GHz. It comes with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD, running Windows 10 Pro out of the box.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

This configuration suits professionals who need a full-size VGA port, a full-size DisplayPort and a Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet jack alongside one USB 3.1 Type-C and two USB 3.0 ports. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a higher-resolution panel or a discrete graphics card should look elsewhere.

1366 x 768 HD non-touch display decides fit

The 1366 x 768 LED-backlit HD panel is non-touch and uses shared system memory via Intel HD Graphics 620. If your workflow depends on a sharper screen, touch input or dedicated video memory, this display specification makes the unit unsuitable.
