Business laptop with 1 TB NVMe

The HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. It comes with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display uses LED backlighting and is non-touch. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output.

Suits mobile professionals needing high memory

This configuration suits professionals who need 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB NVMe drive for large datasets or virtual machines while travelling. The 14.0 inch chassis balances screen space with portability. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics processor for 3D rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Users requiring a touchscreen or a larger display will not find those features here.

Thunderbolt 3 port enables high-speed docking

The single USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port provides high-speed data transfer and video output for docking stations or external GPUs. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI port and Gigabit Ethernet round out the physical connectivity. Wireless connectivity uses the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 adapter. A 1080p webcam is integrated above the display.
