Business laptop for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for business users who need reliable performance on the move. It runs Windows 10 Home on an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 16GB DDR4 memory. A 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast storage and quick boot times.

Upgrade from older dual-core ultrabooks

This model replaces aging dual-core systems that struggle with modern multitasking workloads. The four cores and eight threads deliver a noticeable jump in responsiveness for office suites and browser-heavy workflows. The jump is worth it when your current machine stalls on simultaneous video calls and large spreadsheets.

512GB NVMe handles typical business loads

The 512GB NVMe drive comfortably stores the operating system, applications and several years of documents. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory and runs standard productivity apps and external 1080p displays. It runs out when tasks require discrete GPU acceleration or sustained heavy rendering.
