HP EliteBook 840 G5 14.0" Business Laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8350U processor running at 1.70GHz. It comes with 8GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display uses Intel UHD Graphics 620. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for professional use.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

This laptop suits professionals needing a portable 14.0-inch device for office applications, web browsing and video calls via the integrated webcam. The 512GB SSD provides fast storage for documents. Buyers who want more storage capacity, a dedicated graphics processor for demanding visual workloads, or a touchscreen interface should consider other configurations.

Deciding Specification: 512GB SSD Storage

The 512GB solid-state drive is the key specification that determines suitability. It offers substantial space for the operating system, applications and active project files while delivering fast boot and load times. If your workflow requires larger local libraries or media archives, the 512GB capacity may be insufficient and a higher-capacity drive would be necessary.
