HP EliteBook 840 G8 refurbished business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G8 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-1185G7 quad-core processor with 12 MB L3 cache. It comes with 32 GB memory and a 2 TB SSD running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit. The non-touch FHD display shows 1920 x 1080 resolution with Intel Iris Xe shared graphics.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This Grade A refurbished unit suits professionals who need a quad-core Tiger Lake laptop with large memory and storage for office workloads. Buyers who want a dedicated GPU or a touchscreen should look elsewhere. Builders who need more than two Thunderbolt ports or a larger screen will need a different model.

Deciding specification: 2 TB SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 2 TB SSD capacity. It determines whether the device can hold your local datasets, VM images and media without external drives. If your workflow needs more internal space this capacity will be the limiting factor.
