Business laptop with quad-core Intel i7-8650U

The HP EliteBook 850 G5 is a 15.6 inch business laptop powered by a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.9 GHz with 6 MB L3 cache. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate deployment in managed environments.

Silver chassis with Thunderbolt 3 and gigabit LAN

The silver non-touch display offers 1920 x 1080 resolution with LED backlighting. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory for video output. Connectivity includes two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port, HDMI, and a gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet jack. A 720p webcam and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 handle conferencing and wireless access.

Upgrade from dual-core ultrabooks

Moving from a dual-core ultrabook or a hard-drive-equipped notebook brings four cores, eight threads and NVMe storage that cuts boot and application load times. The Thunderbolt 3 port adds single-cable docking and external GPU flexibility absent on older USB-C implementations. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card or a higher refresh-rate panel should look elsewhere.
