HP EliteBook 850 G5 business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G5 is a 15.6 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.9 GHz. It comes with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display uses LED backlighting and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited for office work and mobile professionals

This laptop suits professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine for document editing, email, web browsing and video calls. The quad-core processor and fast NVMe storage handle typical office workloads smoothly. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Users requiring more than 8 GB memory or a larger SSD for heavy local datasets will need a different configuration.

Quad-core i7-8650U at 1.9 GHz

The Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with a 1.9 GHz base clock determines whether this laptop matches your performance needs. Its 15 W thermal design and shared graphics memory make it effective for general productivity and multitasking. If your workflow depends on sustained heavy compute or discrete GPU acceleration, this processor will not meet those demands.
