HP EliteBook 850 G6 business laptop

This HP EliteBook 850 G6 is a 15.6-inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i7-8565U processor with four cores and a 4.60 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Ready to use with standard ports

The laptop arrives fully assembled and configured with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. No internal installation is required because memory and storage are already fitted. Connect peripherals using two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port, HDMI and a 3.5 mm combo jack. The 45W power supply charges the 3-cell 56WHr battery.

Check your workflow before ordering

Verify that integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics meet your application needs, as there is no discrete GPU option. The 256GB NVMe SSD offers limited capacity for large local datasets. Confirm that USB 3.1 Gen1 and HDMI outputs match your docking or monitor requirements. Buyers who need more storage or dedicated graphics should consider a different configuration.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Intel Core i7-8565U reaches its 4.60 GHz turbo after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, watch the clock speed under load; it should climb toward 4.60 GHz when thermals allow.

What ports and accessories are included versus what I must add?

The box contains the laptop, 45 W power supply and 3-cell 56 WHr battery; it already has 2 USB 3.1 Gen1, HDMI, USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1, RJ-45, combo jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, webcam and fingerprint reader — no extra cables are required for basic use.

Which memory type matches the installed 16 GB configuration?

The system uses DDR4 SODIMM modules; any upgrade must be DDR4 to fit the slots.
