HP EliteBook 850 G6 15.6 inch business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G6 is a 15.6 inch business laptop with a silver chassis. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor with 8 MB L3 cache. The system includes 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display.

Suits mobile professionals needing quad-core speed

This configuration suits professionals who need quad-core processing, 32 GB of memory and fast NVMe storage for multitasking and productivity applications. The Thunderbolt 3 port supports docks and external displays. Buyers who require discrete graphics, a touchscreen panel or a larger screen diagonal should consider other models. Users needing more than 512 GB of internal storage will need to add external drives.

Quad-core i7-8665U with 32 GB DDR4 and 512 GB NVMe

The deciding specification is the Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor paired with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. This combination delivers responsive performance for office workloads, video conferencing and light content creation. Integrated graphics share system memory, so GPU-intensive tasks will be limited. The 15.6 inch FHD display and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity complete the core feature set.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6 inch chassis fit inside a standard 15 inch laptop sleeve?

The 15.6 inch display measures diagonally, so the body is slightly wider than a 15 inch sleeve; check the sleeve's internal width against the laptop's actual dimensions.

Does Windows 11 Pro activate automatically after the first boot?

Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and will activate once the laptop connects to the internet; no product key entry is required during setup.

Can the 512GB NVMe drive be swapped for a larger one later?

Yes, the M.2 slot accepts standard NVMe SSDs; clone the current drive or reinstall Windows 11 Pro on the new drive after fitting it.
