Business laptop for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 850 G6 is a 15.6 inch business laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance on the move. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD.

512GB NVMe storage and 16GB memory headroom

The 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 drive provides fast boot and application load times for typical office workloads. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory handles multitasking across browser tabs, documents and video calls, while integrated Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory for display output.

Thunderbolt 3 docking replaces desktop clutter

A single Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port connects power, external displays and peripherals through one cable, reducing the need for a traditional docking station. HDMI and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports add direct connectivity for projectors and accessories without extra adapters.

Questions about this item

Will the Thunderbolt 3 port let me keep using my existing Thunderbolt dock and external monitors?

Yes — the single Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port supports video and data, so a compatible dock or display will work without adapters.

How can I verify the Intel Core i7-8665U is running at its 1.9 GHz base speed after I set up Windows 11 Pro?

Open Task Manager → Performance → CPU and confirm the base clock reads 1.9 GHz; the quad-core, eight-thread processor should show four cores and eight logical processors.

The listing says Grade B — does the box contain only the laptop, charger and battery, or are cables and adapters also included?

Only the laptop, charger and battery are included; any HDMI, Ethernet or additional USB-C cables must be purchased separately.
