Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Mobile professionals needing a 15.6 inch chassis with quad-core performance, Thunderbolt 3 ports and a large NVMe drive will find this configuration ready for office workloads and multi-monitor docking. Buyers who want a touchscreen, discrete graphics, a lighter ultraportable form factor or a pristine cosmetic appearance should look elsewhere.

Grade B cosmetic condition

This unit is graded B, meaning it is in good working order but shows visible cosmetic blemishes such as scratches, surface imperfections or shiny keys and palm-rest areas. Overly worn or damaged parts have been replaced. The grade is the single specification that decides whether this is the right part for buyers who prioritise condition.

Questions about this item

What size M.2 slot does the 2TB NVMe drive use in this EliteBook 850 G7?

The 2TB NVMe SSD occupies the M.2 slot; the chassis does not have a second M.2 or 2.5 inch bay for additional storage.

Which screw or clip secures the bottom cover when I upgrade the NVMe SSD?

Remove the Torx T5 screws around the perimeter, then pry the cover from the front edge; the hidden screw under the rear rubber foot is the step most people miss.

When will the 32GB DDR4 memory need replacement in this laptop?

The DDR4 RAM is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be replaced; only the NVMe SSD is user-replaceable for future capacity changes.
