Convertible business laptop

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G10 is a 2-in-1 device built for mobile professionals who need a single machine for desk work and presentations. Its 360-degree hinge lets the 14.0-inch touchscreen flip into tablet, tent or stand modes. Windows 11 Pro is installed and ready for enterprise management tools. The Intel Core i7-1365U with 10 cores and a 5.2 GHz turbo frequency handles multi-threaded business workloads.

Silver aluminium chassis and touch display

The silver finish covers a rigid convertible chassis that resists flex when the screen is rotated. A 1920 x 1080 Full HD panel provides pen and finger input for annotation or signatures. Integrated graphics share system memory, keeping thermals simple in the slim body. An integrated webcam sits above the display for video calls without extra peripherals.

Upgrade from older 8 GB or dual-device setups

The 16 GB memory and 256 GB SSD replace configurations that forced constant swapping or carried a separate tablet for touch tasks. Buyers who need discrete graphics, larger local storage or multiple external 4K displays should look elsewhere. The jump is worth it when one secure, managed device must cover both keyboard-heavy and touch-first workflows.

Questions about this item

What interface does the 256GB SSD use and what does it cap in practice?

The 256GB SSD connects via the platform's standard storage interface and its sequential throughput is limited by the drive's own controller, not by the CPU's 10-core 5.2GHz turbo capability.

What physical dimensions and mounting pattern does the 14.0" touchscreen chassis require?

The silver 360-degree convertible body fits a 14.0" footprint with a 1920x1080 FHD panel and uses internal screw points designed for the EliteBook x360 1040 G10 2-in-1 form factor.

How is Windows 11 Pro installed on this unit and what step do people skip?

Windows 11 Pro comes preinstalled and activated; the step users often miss is completing the initial out-of-box experience to link a Microsoft account and apply the latest cumulative updates.
