Compact business desktop

The HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Mini PC fits into tight workspaces and mounts behind compatible displays. A Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE quad-core processor running at 3.2 GHz with 16GB of DDR4 memory handles everyday office workloads and multi-tasking. Integrated Radeon Vega Graphics 11 drives up to three DisplayPort monitors without a separate card. Windows 10 Pro arrives pre-installed and activated.

Upgrade from older small-form-factor PCs

This unit replaces ageing mini desktops that rely on dual-core CPUs, 8GB of RAM or mechanical hard drives. The jump is worth it when users need snappier application switching, faster boot times from the 128GB SATA SSD and modern wireless via 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Buyers who require larger local storage, discrete graphics or more than two front USB 3.1 ports should look elsewhere.

Simple deployment with a few caveats

The package includes the desktop and a matched AC adapter; just connect power, network and displays. Two front USB 3.1 ports, four rear USB 3.1 ports and one front USB-C 3.0 port cover most peripherals. Some units ship with only two DisplayPorts while others have three, and VGA is not guaranteed, so verify monitor cables before rolling out.
