Ready for business workloads

This HP EliteDesk 8 G1i mini desktop pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 265T 18-core processor with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB NVMe drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. It targets office teams and specialised workloads that need strong multi-thread performance in a compact footprint.

Cool and quiet with a 90W supply

The 90W internal power unit feeds the CPU at its 1.5GHz base and 5.3GHz turbo frequencies while integrated Intel UHD graphics handle display output. MIL-STD 810 testing and the HP Total Test Process confirm thermal stability for continuous business use. Acoustic output stays low in typical office ambient conditions.

Mini chassis with modern I/O

HDMI, DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 ports support multi-monitor setups and high-speed peripherals from a single compact box. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E give flexible wired or wireless network options. A wired keyboard and mouse are included. Buyers who need internal expansion slots or additional drive bays should consider a larger form factor.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 32GB DDR5 5600MHz memory in the mini form factor, and which step do people get wrong?

Open the chassis, align the DDR5 module notch with the slot key at 5600MHz, press firmly until the retention clips click; the step often missed is seating the module fully before closing the case.

What maintenance or replacement will the 512GB NVMe drive need later?

The 512GB NVMe drive has no moving parts; plan to monitor SMART health in Windows 11 Pro and replace only if capacity runs low or errors appear.

What limit appears first on the 90W power supply under sustained 5.3GHz turbo loads?

The 90W power supply caps total system draw, so sustained 5.3GHz turbo on the 18-core processor will hit the power budget before thermal limits.
