Compact Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini is a micro-form-factor business desktop built around an Intel Core i5-8500T processor. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD, delivering responsive performance for office applications, multitasking and data-heavy workflows in space-constrained environments. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Build Integration

The 65W power adapter and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 keep cabling minimal while dual DisplayPort outputs drive two monitors for extended desktop productivity. Wireless keyboard and mouse plus a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapter are included, so the system is ready to operate without extra peripherals or internal expansion cards.

Sustained Operation

Air cooling manages thermals within the tiny chassis during continuous business workloads such as document processing, web sessions and video conferencing. The 3500 MHz turbo frequency provides headroom for burst demands while the 9 MB L3 cache helps maintain steady throughput over long periods.

Questions about this item

Will the 65 W power adapter limit the i5-8500T during sustained heavy workloads?

The 65 W supply matches the processor's 35 W TDP, leaving headroom for the 32 GB DDR4 and 2 TB NVMe SSD under continuous load.

How loud and warm does the mini chassis get when running all day?

The air-cooled micro form factor stays quiet during typical office tasks; fan speed rises only under prolonged maximum CPU utilisation.

Do I need to provide my own display cables for the two DisplayPort outputs?

A DP-to-HDMI adapter is included so you can connect one HDMI monitor immediately; the second DisplayPort uses a standard cable you supply.
