Compact business desktop with bundled audio

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini is a small-form-factor desktop built for enterprise environments that value a minimal footprint. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes two waterproof portable Bluetooth speakers, adding wireless audio without extra cables. The 25 W, six-core Intel Core i5-8500T processor runs at a 2.1 GHz base frequency and boosts to 3.5 GHz for responsive office workloads.

Fits behind a display and expands through ports

The mini chassis can be mounted behind a compatible HP EliteDisplay, freeing desk space for other equipment. Six USB 3.0 ports and one front-facing USB-C 3.0 port provide ample connectivity for peripherals and storage devices. Two DisplayPort outputs and possible additional VGA ports support multi-monitor setups, while a single Gigabit Ethernet port handles wired networking.

8 GB DDR4 and 256 GB SSD for everyday tasks

The system includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive, sufficient for standard productivity applications and fast boot times. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles general business visuals and dual-display output but is not suited for intensive 3D rendering or gaming workloads. Buyers needing discrete graphics performance or larger local storage should consider other configurations.

How loud and hot does the Mini get when running all day?

The 25 W processor and compact Mini form factor typically produce modest heat and low fan noise during continuous operation.

What display cables or adapters do I need to connect a monitor?

The unit provides two DisplayPort outputs — some units include a third DisplayPort or a VGA port — so have a DisplayPort or VGA cable ready.
