Compact desktop for office workloads

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini PC fits into tight workspaces while delivering a 6-core Intel Core i5-8600 processor running at a base 3.10 GHz with turbo up to 4.3 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a combined 1 TB of NVMe storage across two 512 GB drives give ample headroom for business applications and multitasking. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Sustained performance in a 90 W envelope

The 90 W power supply feeds the CPU, integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics, memory and storage without a discrete GPU, so thermal output stays modest during long work sessions. Six cores maintain throughput for spreadsheet calculation, video conferencing and background services without the clock-speed drops seen in burst-only designs. Fan noise remains low enough for open-plan desks.

Mini chassis with versatile mounting options

At 6.97 by 7 by 1.5 inches and 2.7 lb the unit can sit behind a monitor or be secured with a VESA bracket. Three DisplayPort outputs plus a USB-C port drive up to three displays from integrated graphics. Six USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and a combo audio jack handle peripherals, while a single RJ-45 jack provides wired networking. No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is fitted.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 90 W supply draw when the i5-8600 runs at 4.3 GHz all day?

The 90 W power supply is rated for the full system including the 6-core i5-8600 at its 4.3 GHz turbo, so sustained loads stay within that envelope.

Which display cables do I need to use the three DisplayPort outputs on this Mini?

You need three DisplayPort cables and monitors with DisplayPort inputs; no HDMI or VGA ports are present.

Will my existing DDR4 SODIMMs work if I want to expand the 16 GB already installed?

Yes, the system uses DDR4 SO-DIMM slots, so any compatible DDR4 SODIMM modules can be added.
