HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF desktop PC i5-8500 32 GB DDR4 256 GB SSD

Compact business desktop for office teams

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF is a new small-form-factor PC built around an Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at up to 4.1 GHz with a 65 W TDP. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory and a 2.5-inch 256 GB solid-state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles display output, while a USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle provides wireless connectivity. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, and an HP USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Memory and storage headroom for typical workloads

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration gives comfortable headroom for multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and line-of-business applications. The 256 GB SSD delivers fast boot and application launch times, though users working with large media libraries or local databases will likely need external or network storage. A DVD-ROM drive is fitted for legacy media access. Buyers who want more internal storage or a second drive bay will find the SFF chassis limiting.

SFF chassis with essential ports and included

The black and silver SFF case is designed to sit unobtrusively on a desk or behind a monitor, using standard 240-pin DIMM slots for memory. Front and rear I/O cover everyday office peripherals, and the bundled USB keyboard and mouse mean the system is ready to deploy without extra accessories. The compact form factor restricts full-height expansion cards, so teams needing discrete graphics or additional internal cards should consider a larger tower format.
