HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF Business Desktop

This HP EliteDesk 800 G4 small-form-factor desktop targets offices and home workers needing a compact, ready-to-run Windows 11 Pro machine. It ships with an Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor, 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout combining a 512 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB SSD. A DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard and USB mouse are included in the box.

Upgrade from older SFF towers or all-in-ones

Replacing a previous-generation small-form-factor PC with this unit adds six cores running up to 4.10 GHz and 32 GB of DDR4 in a single step. The jump is worth it when daily workloads involve multiple browser tabs, Office suites and line-of-business apps that benefit from the extra threads and the fast M.2 boot drive. Buyers who need discrete graphics or more internal drive bays should look elsewhere.

Tool-less chassis with standard DDR4 slots

The SFF case opens without tools, exposing two DIMM 240-pin slots and the M.2 socket for straightforward memory or storage changes. The 65 W processor keeps thermals manageable in the compact enclosure. The main pitfall is the low-profile layout: full-height add-in cards will not fit, and the 240-pin form factor means only DDR4 UDIMM modules are compatible.
