HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF i7-8700 16 GB DDR4 128 GB SSD

Compact business desktop for office teams

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF packs an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and twelve threads running at 3.20 GHz base and up to 4.60 GHz turbo. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB 2.5-inch SSD provide responsive everyday performance. Windows 10 Pro, a DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard, USB mouse and a 5 GHz-capable wireless dongle are included in the box.

Replaces aging tower workstations

Moving from a traditional full-size tower to this small-form-factor chassis saves desk space while keeping the 65 W hexa-core CPU and dual-drive expansion capability. The jump is worth it when IT departments need standardized, manageable hardware that fits behind a monitor or in a tight cubicle without sacrificing multi-threaded throughput for business applications.

Suits corporate roll-outs.

Buyers who need discrete graphics for CAD, video editing or multi-monitor 4K workloads should look elsewhere, as the system relies on Intel UHD Graphics. Organisations requiring more than 16 GB of RAM or larger primary storage out of the box will need to configure upgrades or choose a different chassis.
