HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini i7-9700T Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini is a compact desktop PC built for business and home office use. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-9700T processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives displays through DisplayPort.

Suited for general productivity

This system suits users who need a small-footprint PC for everyday applications, web browsing and dual 4K display support at 4096 x 2304 resolution. Buyers who require a discrete graphics card, additional internal drive bays or more than 64GB of total memory should consider a larger form factor.

256GB SSD capacity determines storage headroom

The single 256GB solid-state drive holds the operating system and core applications with limited space for large media libraries or project files. Users planning extensive local storage should budget for external drives or network-attached storage.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-9700T is reaching its 4.30 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose CPU and watch the live clock speed while running a demanding task; it should show speeds approaching 4.30 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Which accessories are included in the box and which must be purchased separately?

The package provides a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed; a display cable for the DisplayPort connection and any external monitor must be bought separately.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR4 configuration or upgrade to the 64 GB maximum supported capacity?

The system ships with 16 GB DDR4 installed; if your workloads involve heavy virtualisation or large datasets, adding modules up to the 64 GB limit will improve responsiveness.
