Compact Business Mini PC

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini PC is a new desktop built for professional environments. Its small footprint allows it to fit behind a compatible display or sit on a desk with minimal space required. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-9500T six-core processor with a 35W power profile. This configuration targets office productivity and multi-tasking workloads.

Suited for Standard Office Work

This system suits users who need a ready-to-use Windows 11 Pro machine for document editing, web apps and video conferencing. The 35W processor and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handle typical business software without a discrete GPU. Buyers who require high-end 3D rendering, dedicated graphics memory or multi-monitor gaming setups should consider a workstation or tower class system instead.

2TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 2TB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. It provides fast boot times and ample capacity for large local file libraries and application caches. If the workflow depends on mechanical hard drives, a different storage interface or a smaller boot drive, this Mini PC will not match that requirement.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what do I still need to buy?

The box contains the EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini PC, a Windows 11 Pro licence already activated, and the matching AC power adapter. No keyboard, mouse, monitor or speaker set is included, so you will need to supply those separately.

Should I pick this i5-9500T model or look for a different CPU option?

This unit ships with the six-core i5-9500T running at 2.2 GHz with a 3.5 GHz turbo boost, 9 MB L3 cache and a 35 W TDP. If you need more threads or higher base clocks you would have to choose a different SKU; otherwise this configuration balances performance and thermals for the Mini form factor.

How does the 2 TB NVMe drive perform once Windows and apps are loaded?

The 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD provides fast boot and application launch times, leaving ample space for large project files and local data after the Windows 11 Pro installation. Sequential read and write speeds follow the PCIe NVMe standard supported by the platform.
