HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Small Form Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Small Form desktop uses a 9th generation Intel Core i5 9500 six-core processor at 3.0 GHz with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe PCIe M.2 drive. It runs Windows 10 Pro and includes Intel UHD Graphics 630 for display output. This configuration suits office productivity, web applications and multi-monitor setups in compact workspaces. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or higher core counts for rendering should look elsewhere.

Connectivity limited to wired Gigabit Ethernet

The system provides one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, four USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and four USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Two DisplayPort outputs drive external monitors. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not included, so wireless networking requires a separate adapter. The small form factor restricts internal expansion to low-profile cards only, limiting future upgrades.

Replaces older SFF desktops

Moving from a mechanical drive to the 2TB NVMe SSD cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The six-core i5 9500 and 16GB DDR4 handle modern multitasking that dual-core or 8GB systems struggle with. The jump is worth it when daily workflows involve multiple browser tabs, Office suites and video calls on a compact desk footprint.
